Kendall Matthew Roussel, resident of Hester, LA, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the age of 45. Kendall was a graduate of Lutcher High School. Kendall enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and recently weightlifting. He was an avid Saints and LSU fan who liked watching his favorite team’s football and baseball games. He loved umpiring baseball games and watching his nephew play baseball. He also enjoyed the bonfires on the levee. Kendall is survived by his parents, Kenny and Connie Haydel Roussel; siblings, Preston, and twin brother, Kasey; beloved fur baby, Maddie; niece and nephews, Presley (Godchild), Avery, Ayden and Kaysen (Godchild) Roussel; Godchild, Kinsley Kahl; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Etienne “Peck” and Bunny Andermann Haydel and Garland Sr. and Dorothy Kliebert Roussel; uncle, Pat Haydel; cousin, Garrett Haydel. A private service to celebrate Kendall’s life will be held at a later date. The family would like to especially thank Kendall’s Aunt Jill, Aunt Aaron and cousin, April, for their love and support at the Hospital while his parents were out of town.
