Steve Allen Stroughter

Steve Allen Stroughter, born on November 7, 1953, passed away on October 19, 2026.

 Steve will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life. He especially loved watching LSU in all forms, with football and baseball holding a special place in his heart. That enjoyment was one of the simple pleasures that brought him happiness and will remain a warm memory for those who thought of him during game days and seasons through the years.

 Steve is survived by his brothers, Gary Stroughter (Brooke Stroughter Niece), Thomas (Pan) and Vanessa Stroughter, Nieces and Nephews Jeanne Istre, Nathan Godwin and Russell LeBlanc and his brother-in-law Billy Morgan, and his Great Niece Mia LeBlanc and many more nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Stroughter; his mother, Betty Weaver; his stepmother, Annie Nell Stroughter; his brother, Frank Stroughter; his sister, Sylvia Stroughter; and Dana Morgan.

Steve’s life is honored in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him with affection and gratitude. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
