Patsy Patin Fuselier, a native of Scott, Louisiana and a resident of Livingston, Louisiana, died Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of Sidney Joseph Fuselier of St. Martinville, Louisiana and the loving mother of Sheryl Fuselier Miller and Robin Fuselier Buquoi. She is also survived by her sons-in-law Robert Buquoi and Roger Miller, her grandchildren Lyndsey Doria, Micah Buquoi and Brodie Miller. Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Maisel Randazzo; her brother, Harry Patin; and her parents, Irene Latour Patin and Lloyd Patin.
Pat was a native of Louisiana and a true Cajun who lived a long, full life. She loved dancing to cajun music, singing in French, and often played it around the house no matter which of the many states they were living in. She was a creative soul and spent much of her life learning new fabric arts like sewing, quilting, crocheting, cross stitching, and weaving. She could be found in the morning drinking a good cup of cafe au lait and never turned down a good beignet. Her heart and soul were her family and friends. She relished a full house and cherished time with people she loved. Her grandchildren made her heart full and she loved her time with them. Holidays were her favorite and she always had a big table to fit everyone. She met new friends everywhere she went, often on jaunts to yoga, the library, mountain walks, or a neighbor's house. She loved traveling whether to the beach or the mountains, to dip her toes in a cold stream or a hot artesian spring. She saw beauty in nature and loved being outdoors. She was fiercely independent and learned much from her adventures with her husband. She held onto her love of her heritage and the Cajun French language and sometimes spoke both languages interchangeably. She was loved by many and loved a good card game and a hearty laugh.
