Brandon Eric Johnson

Brandon Eric Johnson, born August 21st, 1974 in Baton Rouge, LA, passed away after a long term medical complication at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge on October 19th, 2026 at the age of 52 years old.

Brandon became a resident of Walker, LA later in life, where he would work as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for over thirty years. He most loved his family and friends, but was also known to be an avid outdoorsman, particularly hunting and fishing his whole life.

Brandon is survived by his sons Slade Johnson (Megan) and Lincoln Tripp Johnson, as well as a brother Wyndell Johnson.

He is preceded in death by parents Grant and Linda Johnson, and an infant brother David Johnson.

A visitation will be held for Brandon on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 at the Red Oak Baptist Church 28760 Red Oak Rd, Livingston, LA 70754 beginning at 9:00 AM until a religious service at 11:00 AM. A graveside and burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Pallbearers include Slade Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Wyndell Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Brent Ouber, and Landon Richardson. Tripp Johnson to act as an honorary pallbearer.
