Windom Adam “Phil” Phillips II was born in Baton Rouge on February 23, 1944, to the union of Windom and Jewel Easley Phillips, and rested from this life on August 22, 2025, at this home.
He graduated from Baton Rouge High School in 1962, and from Delgado College in 1966, with a degree in Aerospace Maintenance and Technology.
He retired from Exxon Mobil in 2009, after 42 years of service working in the Petroleum Products Lab, then as Analyzer Technician.
A longtime member of Baton Rouge Radio Control Club, and Nick Kalivoda’s Bible Class. He enjoyed the hobby of flying radio control model airplanes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Faith Winston and Patsy Hamberlin.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Pat Phillips, children Missy Phillips Day (Dr. Mike) of Baton Rouge, and Andy Phillips (Robin) of Katy Texas, grandchildren Sam, Ben and Amelia Day of Baton Rouge, Grayson and Addison Phillips of Katy, Texas, a brother Farley Phillips, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was extremely proud of his grandkids and all their accomplishments.
