Funeral service celebrating the life of William Wright Walker of West Monroe, LA. will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024, at Lapine Assembly Church, 550 Lapine Road, West Monroe with Pastor, Gene Benson officiating.

Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly Cemetery under the direction of Church Funeral Services.
 
 Family will receive friends for visitation 12:00 PM 
 until time of service at the church.
 

William was born December 13, 1939, and passed from this life surrounded by his family March 27, 2024, at the age of 84.

The most important thing in his life was his family… He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was best known to most as “Billy Walker” when he wasn’t working you can find him on a tractor bush hogging, planting a garden, junking and enjoying the view on his back porch with his dog drinking coffee.
 
 Billy had a unique way of viewing the world, he always had a smile on his face, he had a
unique character that will be deeply missed.
 

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Wright Walker, mother, Normal Lurline Walker, 
wife, Sherry Lee Walker.
 

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tiffany Henning, Hope Frith, Kathryn Shaw, Neil Parrott, Sam Parrott; grandchildren, Dillon Ryals and wife, April, Halie Ryals, James “Bubba” Henning; great-grandchildren, Kennedi Kate Ryals, Mila Ryals, Renli Ryals; 
brothers, Gordon Walker and wife, Dianne, Joe Walker and wife, Regina.

Pallbearers serving are Dillon Ryals, James “Bubba” Henning, Caleb Dodson, Joshua Quinlan, Mason Shaw, Marshall Shaw, 
 Neil Parrott, and Little Sam.
 

Honorary Pallbearers are Ben Parrott, Larry Smith, Paul Martin, 
 Halie Ryals, Kane Robinson, Johnny McMillon, and Big Sam.
