William Joseph Cobb

William Joseph Cobb, A Much Loved Father and Grandfather passed with his daughters by his side at 7:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2018 at the age of 63. He was a native and resident of Denham Springs and was a retired automotive mechanic. Visitation will be held at Christ Community Church in Denham Springs on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM conducted by Pastor Keith Zachary. A graveside service to follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Fort DeRussy Cemetery in Marksville conducted by Father Rusty Rabalais. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Christi and Trent Blair and Patti and Christopher Thurmon; sister, Mary Smith, brother, Robert Earl Cobb and wife Stephanie Cobb; grandchildren, Breann Lovett and husband Steven, Case Thurmon, Payten Thurmon, Brodie Thurmon, and Kennedi Blair; great-grandchildren, Wren Lockhart, Ainsleigh Lovett and Judd Michael Lovett; 2 special friends, Pat Hoover and Traci Swindle and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl Cobb and Ida Gaspard Cobb; brother-in-law, Smitty Smith and his grandson, Taith Patrick Cobb. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Lipsmeyer and Pat Tessier. In lieu of flowers, family request memorial donations be made to St. Joseph Carpenter house in Baton Rouge. Church Funeral Service in Walker is in charge of arrangements.
