William Jacob Melancon

William Jacob Melancon, a native of Sorrento, LA, died July 2, 2023 at the age of 28.  He was the loving father of Liam J. Melancon and fiancé of Hallie Grace Melancon.  William is also survived by his parents, Christal Swarner and Jeremy Melancon; stepfather, Darren Swarner; a sister Dana Holliday and husband Gage; brothers Jordan L Melancon and Blake Guercio; grandparents, Cheryl Cannon, Matthew Dance, Denise and Dottie Waldron; aunts, Heidi Wheat and Jennifer Murff (Justin); uncles, Jason “Bird” Wheat (Realyn) and Randall Waldron. William was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary and Chris Wheat, Herman Randall, Agnes and Tom Coward. William loved to fish and tinker on cars. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at The Church International, St. Amant on Monday, July 17, 2023.  Visitation to begin at 10AM followed by services at NOON.
