Wilfredo "Will" Medina

Wilfredo “Will” Medina, 62, of Gonzales, La, passed away peacefully in the Butterfly Wing at Baton Rouge General, on January 18, 2026. He was born on February 12, 1963 in New Brunswick, NJ. He was a loving father to Carlos, Jessica and Alex.

He was a hard working and dedicated HSE Consultant for 15 years. Despite his work responsibilities, he always made time for his family. While he didn’t like being the center of attention, he deserves to be honored for the great man he was. Dad was a huge jokester and he was loved by many. While he may have been off-key, he loved to sing and dance to whatever was on the radio. His biggest passions were working on any kind of vehicle, and playing tug of war with his grand-dog Arrow.

He is survived by his mother Maria Lugo; his brother Anthony Medina; and his children Carlos(Meagan), Jessica, Alex, and his favorite dog Arrow.
