Wilfred Joseph “Joe” Langlois, Jr.

Wilfred Joseph “Joe” Langlois Jr., a resident of Gonzales, La, passed away July 23, 2023 at the age of 73. He was born August 18, 1949, in Baton Rouge, La. He was a long-time employee of Georgia Pacific where he retired after 45 years of service. Joe was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and traveling. He is survived in death by his wife of 56 years, Cynthia Langlois. A son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Traci Langlois. Granddaughters Shayna Yates (Dakota) and Samantha Langlois. Four Great Grandchildren: John Gabriel, Connor, and Everett Yates, and Reese Brooks. A sister, Bonnie Fuller (Jeff), brother Andrew Blanchard (Hope), and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Langlois. Father, Wilfred Langlois. Mother, Gracie Albarado Blanchard, Step Father, Albert Blanchard, Brother, Michael Langlois and Great Grandson, Isaac Yates. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2 from 9-11 at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant. La, Mass and graveside service to follow.
