Wendy Mary VonLienen

Wendy Mary VonLienen, known for her warm heart and great sense of humor, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Denham Springs, LA. She was born on July 8, 1967, in her hometown of Vacherie, LA. Wendy was a beloved member of the community, having worked at B&C Seafood Market and Cajun Restaurant in Vacherie.

 Wendy found joy in the simple things in life, from football games, especially cheering on the Saints, to expressing her creativity through art and gardening. She also had a passion for cooking and baking while teaching her children.

 One of Wendy's proudest accomplishments was earning her GED, showcasing her determination and perseverance. She cherished moments spent with her family, including unforgettable trips to Massachusetts and Texas. Watching the movie "Aquamarine" with her daughter held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her spouse Donald VonLienen; children, Cas Symonds (Jim), Cindy Efird, and Caitlyn Efird (Jared) ; siblings Cheryl Becnel (Mike), Darwin Kraemer, and Michael Kraemer (Alicia); grandchildren: Carter Rodrigue, Cooper Bein, Anneliese Quezaire, Erykah Quezaire; furry companions Breezy and Buddy (dogs) and Louie (cat); brother-in-law Kenny Pierron; best friend Joan Moreno; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Wendy was preceded in death by her mother Agnes S. Kraemer, father Howard Kraemer; brothers Howard Kraemer Jr. and Jeffery Kraemer; sister Roseanne K. Pierron; sisters-in-law Shannon Kraemer and Sara Kraemer.

 In honoring Wendy's memory, let us remember her kind spirit and how she touched the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at The Church International in St. Amant, LA. Visitation will start at 10 am and service to begin at 11am.
