Vivian Daves

Vivian Daves, a resident of Tensas Parish, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 80. She was a retired pilot and instructor. Vivian’s hobbies included decorating, gardening, and rescuing stray animals in need. She loved spending time with her family and pets.

Vivian is survived by her loving daughter Tami Baca (husband Armando); grandchildren, Shea White (husband Gary) and Tarayn Shenk (husband Jake); great-grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Alyssa, Nicholas, Kaleb, and Amelia; sister, Sylvia Revelle-Johnson (husband Fred); beloved pets, Bear, Bingo, Chipper, Snowbell, and Alcee; her companion, Tom Bell; and caregiver Justin Hubbard who was like a son to her.

Preceded in death by parents, Helen and Clyde Revell; and husband, George Lee Daves.
