Victoria (Vickie) S. Guitreau Jackson

On Monday January 9, 2023, our beloved mother, Victoria (Vickie) S. Guitreau Jackson, passed away. She was sixty-nine and a resident of St. Amant, Louisiana. Born to Llyod and Christine Morgan Guitreau on January 30, 1953 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Vickie was raised in the service of the Lord and had unwavering faith in his everlasting love and grace. In 1971, Vickie earned her G.E.D. and worked in the customer service industry until 1994. She earned her Nursing assistant certificate from Ascension College in home health. She worked as a C.N.A for fifteen years and then returned to the customer service industry until she retired in 2015. Upon retiring Vickie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing games on her computer, crafting wreaths and shopping with her friend Judy Murray. Vickie married Alton Jackson in 1974 and they remained married for fifteen years until their divorce in 1989. Victoria is survived by her three children and grandchildren; her son, Brandon and Michelle Jackson and their children Cory and Abbie Smith, Aaron Hill; daughter, Melissa and Louis Anthony Gallo, and their children, Kayley and Megan Gallo, Jacob and Raylind Milligan, her son, Jesse Jackson and Susan Sdra, and their children, Creed and Letty Jackson; her sister, Linda and Daryl Grainer; brother, Michael Guitreau; brother Donald and Cynthia (Kientz) Guitreau; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Llyod J Guitreau (09/09/1996) and Christine Morgan Guitreau (05/21/2007); her sister, Leanne Kruegel (12/04/2008) and her ex-husband, Alton Jackson (04/26/2012).
