Vanessa Ruth Mcclain

A ceremony celebrating the life of Vanessa Ruth McClain will be held at The Church of St Amant on Friday May 5, 2023, with visitation at 9 am until time of the service at 11 am. Vanessa was born in Independence, LA on May 4, 1979, and departed from this life on April 20, 2023, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital unexpectedly at the age of 43 years. She was a resident of Talisheek, a homemaker, and a graduate of Fountain Bleu High School. She enjoyed entertaining friends, traveling, and especially going to the beach. Her greatest passion was her children. She was preceded in death by her father Fred Brady Jr, stepmother Valerie Brady, grandparents Ben and Mary Mulkey, Fred Sr, and Ruth Brady. Survivors include her children Joey and Katie McClain, husband Ronald Steven Davis, mother Wanda Jarrell (Monk), sister Shawanna Randall (Sam), also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
