Uletha Sharp Quave

On July 26, 2026, the world lost Uletha Sharp Quave. She entered the world on April 17th, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is remembered for her focus on the family and her love of cooking a Sunday dinner for all to enjoy. She was a faithful and loving mother who prayed for her family, enjoyed singing hymns and attending small country churches.

She is survived by her two sons; Ronald Allen Quave, and Gary Wayne Quave (spouse Dena Quave): Six Grandchildren; Jeffery Quave, Daniel Quave (spouse Alayna Quave), Sarah Quave, Ronald Quave Jr. (spouse Nicolette Quave), Samantha Ross (spouse Jeffery Ross), and Zane Jones; 11 great grandchildren, and sister Ethel McDonald. 

She is reunited with her husband of 66-years Donald Quave, her parents Dallas Carter Sharp and Grace Lloyd Sharp: Her siblings; Dallas Sharp, Andrew Sharp, Charlie Sharp, Vidalia Sharp, Ella Grace Sharp, and Leona Helton.

A celebration of life will be held at The Way Christian Center in Hammond, Louisiana on August 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to share memories and honor a life lived with warmth and heart.
