Troy was known for his infectious laugh, outgoing personality and love and devotion for his wife, his kids, and his grandbabies. He was a wonderful provider for his family and would do anything for anyone. He loved to go to the beach, and travel with his wife, family and lifelong friends on excursions. Crawfish was his go to and he thoroughly enjoyed boiling and eating ALOT of them! He loved any opportunity to have a get together with family and friends. Throughout the years, he was eager to share the gospel to anyone who would listen and would often tell his testimony of the saving grace of Jesus at any and all opportunities. His grandbabies were his world. He was the best "Poppy" ever! Our hearts are shattered by his absence, but we are not as those who have no hope. Our hope is in Jesus and the fact that we will see him again. His favorite verse is found in Galatians 2:20 (NLT) which reads: “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
