Travis (Tj) Richardson Jr

“God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers” Travis (TJ) Richardson Jr, a native and resident of Gonzales, passed away October 25, 2022 at the age of 18. TJ was loved and cherished by many and will be dearly missed.  He is survived by his girlfriend, Mariah Manuel; sister, She’taja Deverteuil; brothers, Kendell Richardson and Taddam Duplessis; pawpaw, Troy “Tub” Melancon; father, Travis Richardson Sr; grandmother, Melva Richardson; aunt Tessa Guerin (Roland) and Carly Melancon; uncles, Jason Scivicque, Destin Melancon and Reginald Richardson; and many other cousins, family and friends.  He is preceded in death by mother, Kayla Rae Scivicque; maternal grandparents, Diane Melancon and Kenneth Scivicque.  A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at The Church International in St Amant with visitation from 9am to 11am.  Arrangements by Church Funeral Services and Crematory, St. Amant 225-644-9683.
