Travis Wayne Hollingsworth

Travis Wayne Hollingsworth, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024 in Central, LA. He was born on March 26, 1939 in Oak Grove, LA to Joseph and Mary Hollingsworth. He graduated from Denham Springs High School and worked at Allied and BASF for 19 years before going on to start his own company-Hollingsworth Painting and Remodeling. He was happily married to Loyce Brothers Hollingsworth for 62 years. 

Travis was a faithful and active member of his local church for many years, serving as a board member and head usher. 

He is preceded in death by his parents (Joseph and Mary), a sister (Omah Blough), and a granddaughter (Alyssa Hollingsworth). 

Travis is survived by his loving wife Loyce, his 3 sons, Steve (Amanda), Darren (Ivette), and Lance (Melissa) as well as 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his youngest sister Jerri (Ralph) Bradshaw. 

Family and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Journey Church in Greenwell Springs, 17407 Greenwell Springs Rd, Greenwell Springs, LA 70739. Visitation will be 9:00 am-11:00am with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
