It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Travis John Babin, who entered eternal rest on July 29, 2026, at the age of 64.
Travis was a proud United States Army Veteran who lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and laughter. He truly loved his job and was happiest when he was working. No matter where he was, Travis had a way of making people smile. His quick wit, playful jokes, and contagious laugh brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A devoted fan of the LSU Tigers, Travis rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team, especially during baseball and football season. Whether at work, watching a game, or spending time with those he loved, he lived life with humor, loyalty, and a generous heart.
Travis is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved mother, Rosemary; his father, Gerald; his brothers, Wade and Gerald; and his sister, Lorrita. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children, Anthony Babin, Brianna Bryant (Shannon), and Meaghan Keir (Bobby), along with his four treasured granddaughters and one beloved grandson. His love, laughter, and the memories he created with his family will forever remain in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Travis's life on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 LA-429, St. Amant, LA 70774. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Funeral Mass immediately following.
Though he is gone from our sight, Travis's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication will live on in all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
