Timothy L. Noel (Tim) 63 of Baton Rouge, LA passed away September 9th, at Mid-City Nursing and Rehab Center in Baton Rouge.
Tim was born April 23, 1963, in Minnesota and he attended Forest Lake High School. He always wanted to be a chef even in elementary school. In addition, one of his favorite things to do while growing up was to tinker with just about anything. He was always building or fixing things.
He attended The Culinary Institute of Washington, DC and did his internship at the French Embassy in Washington. Tim had many jobs in the hospitality industry during his lifelong career as a chef. He often spoke of the time he spent in Antarctica as the winter-over chef. He worked in Africa, Montana, and finally New Orleans. His final Position was as Sous Chef at Antoines Restaurant before becoming paralyzed after a medical procedure.
He is survived by his daughter Christine Marconi (Jason), 2 grandchildren, Benjamin and Juliana of Gilford, CT.; his mother Darlene Marinello and stepfather Tony, his brother Greg (Tessa) of Richmond, VA, a sister Carrie of Salisbury MD, Marc Marinello (Maria) a stepbrother and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry and a brother Kent.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
