Thomas Eugene Hughes

Thomas Eugene Hughes went to be with his mother and brothers in heaven on Monday August 21st, 2023. He was born on April 27, 1956 in Kentwood, La to Mary Tigner and Sidney Hughes. Everybody who knew him called him Dinky. Dinky loved hot rods, hunting, fishing, working on cars, his grandkids (Brittany, Austin, McKenzie, and Jace) and great grandkids (John David, Emberlynn, Remington, Aubrey, Hazel, and Kolton). He especially loved spending time with his grandson Austin and giving his daughter in law Angie a hard time. He was a longtime mechanic and master plumber. Dinky is preceded in death by his mother Mary, and his brothers Donnie and Ronnie. He is survived by his brother Sid and his son Andy along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. No services will be done at this time but a celebration of life will follow at a later date.
