Theodore Albert "Ted" Bobe

Theodore (Ted) Albert Bobe of Ventress, LA passed away peacefully at his home on Monday March 18, 2024 at the age of 81. Preceded in death by his parents Jacob Edward Bobe and Virgie Meyer Bobe; his brother, Anthony James Bobe; brothers-in-law Wayne Thibodeaux, Don Simmons, Richard (Dickie) Parmalee, Fausto Fernandez, Ronald Meritt, and Milton Thibodeaux, sisters-in-law, Yvonne Thibodeaux, Patsy Fernandez, Marceline Dore, Judy Meritt, and Pam Mayer. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Thibodeaux Bobe, his children Anthony Thomas Bobe (Paula) and Rachel Bobe Taber (Michael). He was the proud Poppy of Heidi, Emily, and Madeline Bobe and Randall David, His sisters Louise Bobe Simmons and Rose Bobe Parmelee; sister-in-law, Kathy Thibodeaux as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was President of the Central Lions Club, Coached and helped establish the Youth Ministry at St. Alphonsus Church. He was the owner of Quality Scales for many years until his retirement. He was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He never met a stranger and was there for everyone. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Fellowship Church Zachary Youth Ministry or Missions Ministry. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 6th at Fellowship Church in Zachary (1555 Mount Pleasant-Zachary Rd. Zachary, LA 70791 225-654-7989) with visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm and service starts at 12:00pm, with a reception to follow.
