Terry McKey Waguespack

Terry McKey Waguespack, born on December 17, 1953, in Centerville, Mississippi, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2026, in Prairieville, Louisiana. She was a paralegal who dedicated over 30 years of her life to her career, showing a strong work ethic and commitment to her profession.

Terry was a woman who truly loved her family and treasured the time she spent with those closest to her. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, whether it was sipping a glass of wine by the pool on a sunny afternoon, sharing laughter and conversation with loved ones, or engaging in a friendly game of backgammon with her husband. These moments brought her comfort, joy, and a deep sense of contentment.

Terry also shared a special bond with her beloved fur baby, Charlie, who brought her endless companionship, love, and happiness. Charlie was not just a pet but a cherished member of her family and a constant source of comfort.

She is survived by her loving husband, Duane Waguespack, and her four daughters: Shawn Trabeaux, Kristopher Zeringue, Adrieanne Combel (Robert), and Victoria Blanchard (Christopher). Terry’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Taylor Gordon, Karley Braley, Robert Combel III, Stanley Zeringue, Julian Blanchard, Kyla Blanchard, Aidyn Combel, Sisley Zeringue, as well as a few great grandchildren.

Terry was also survived by her sisters, Sandi McKey Threeton, Vickie Ory Boyd, and Brenda McKey Salter. She had many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Margret McKey LaCaze and Harry McKey.

Terry McKey Waguespack’s life was a testament to love, family, and dedication. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
