Terri Ann (Thacker) Zari entered Eternal Rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the age of 58 at her residence of Galliano, Louisiana.
Daughter of the late Eugene B. Thacker Jr. and the late Mary Ann Lee Parta (Steve). Previous wife to Wayne Hebert Jr. and the late Gino Zari. Granddaughter to the late Gloria Duay (Elmo) and the late Henry and Alexander Lee. Sister to Wanda Thacker Weinberger (Ray), the late Eddie Cascio, Chad Lee (Kim), Eugene B. Thacker (tat2), Pam Rooney (Pat) and Nicole Thacker. Mother to April Lynn Hunter, Stanley (BJ) Hunter III, Joshua Hebert, and Stepmother to Gina LaCoste (Nicholas). Grandmother to Destiny Rodrigue, Chloe Hernandez (Kevin) and Alisha Lee (Cody) and Harper Hunter. Great-grandmother to several great-grandkids and loved by multiple nieces and nephews.
She was a native of Westwego, LA and longtime resident of Larose, Louisiana. Terri was a cancer survivor who fought for several years along with other health issues, but she never gave up fighting. Words will never describe how she was loved, and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
We will have a Celebration of Life for Terri at the Westwego Volunteer Fire Dept. Hall @ 677 Avenue H, Ste B; Westwego, LA 70094 on January 28th from 1pm to 4pm.
