Tanner William Kelley was born on October 8, 1995. He was a native of Watson, LA and later moved to Baton Rouge. Tanner attended Live Oak and Denham Springs schools, and then was a graduate of LA National Guard YCP. He eventually began working for his father's business, Special Projects. Over the years he mastered many trades and eventually took over the business.
Tanner loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting with family and friends, and was also an exceptional cook. Tanner’s humor lit up every room - he had a gift for making people laugh and lifting spirits wherever he went. His greatest passion and favorite person in the whole wide world was his daughter Adeline Grace. She was his sidekick! To know Tanner was to love him and he will be dearly missed by all.
Tanner is preceded in death by his father, Randy Kelley, grandparents Joyce and Willard “Peanut” Kelley and Aykut Kazan.
Tanner is survived by his daughter, Adeline Grace Kelley; mother, Lori Williams Kelley; sisters, Abby Kelley and Kortney Rayborn (Chris), brother, Randall Kelley; grandmother, Gail Kazan; grandfather, Bobby Williams, nieces and nephews, Gannon and Rhett Kelley, Ruth Ann and Wes Rayborn; and his girlfriend, Gracie Reed. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of Tanner’s life will be held on July 5th, 2025 at Christ’s Community Church at 26574 Juban Road, Denham Springs, beginning at 9:00 AM, with a service to follow at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made via Venmo @adelinekelley2025, to benefit his daughter Adeline’s future.
