Tamera Marie Braud, passed away at the age 66 on May 8, 2025, at Ascension Oaks Nursing Home where she spent the last six weeks. Tammy died of complications from ALS and Alzheimer's. Tammy was a native of St. Amant and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge. Tammy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints Baton Rouge Ward.
She is survived by her son, Jason James; brother, Travis Braud and wife Star and brother, Tod Braud; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Margaret Loupe Braud; grandparents, Clarence and Cecile Laiche Braud; and grandparents, Felix and Bertine Matherne Loupe.
For many years Tammy loved working at O'Halleron's Jewelry in Baton Rouge where she excelled in sales and customer relations. She had a vibrant personality that her customers loved. Her laugh was contagious and could brighten anyone's day.
Services for Tamera will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints Baton Rouge Ward on Saturday, May 24th beginning at 11 am.
