Sylvia Dawn Thronson

Sylvia Dawn Thronson, sadly passed away on March 18,2024 at the age of 76. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her.  She was born on February 25, 1948 in Hattiesburg, MS 

Sylvia is survived my her husband of 37 years, Manuel Silva, her son, Ronny Jenkins, daughter Renee’ Wells (Robby) grandchildren: Garrett Wells (Kayla) Tanner Jenkins, Robby Wells (Malancy), Taylor Jenkins (Austin). Sylvia was so loved by all who knew her. Always present in her children and grandchildren’s lives and she will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merkil and Voncile Thronson, brothers Geral and Gary Thronson and sister Janice Lechuga. 

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 20th,  from 10 a.m -12 p.m. at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Rd. Baton Rouge, LA with lunch following in the fellowship hall. A private burial to take place at a later date. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at OLOL and SICU unit.
