Susan Annette Shaffett

A resident of Albany, LA she passed away in Hammond on Wednesday, August 13, 2018 at the age of 51 years. Visitation will be held at Little River Church, 11005 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, La. 70466, from 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. The service will be conducted by Rev. Joshua Payne.  Interment will be at Twin Pines Cemetery. She is survived by long-time companion Aubrey Mitchell Sr.; son, Aubrey Mitchell Jr., and Matt Gehegan; mother, Mary Lee Shaffett; sister, Patricia Shaffett; brother, Kenneth Shaffett; grandson, Aubrey Mitchell III and a host of family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Shaffett.  Pallbearers will be Trey Vicari, Richard Ramos, Matt Gehegan, Jason Collins, Ray Jones, Tim Thorton, Jerry Andrews, and Nick Gros.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to help offset funeral expenses at https://www.inlieuof.com/st-amant/susan-shaffett.  Arrangements by Church Funeral Services, St. Amant 225-644-9683 www.churchfuneralservices.com
