Stephen (Steve) Paul Falcon Jr.

Stephen (Steve) Paul Falcon, Jr., affectionately known as “Big Steve”, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was 59 years old, born July 10, 1964, and a resident of Plattenville, LA.

Steve always had a big smile on his face, always making everyone laugh, and never met a stranger. He was the favorite uncle to his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His career talent and passion was selling cars. He was also an avid sports fan, with his favorite being football and participating in his fantasy football leagues. 

Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Julia Knight Falcon; sisters Phyllis (Phil) LeBlanc and Faye (Sonny) Ourso; sisters-in-law Mona Falcon, Diane (Monty) Heins, and Karyn (Errol) Tisdale; brother-in-law David (Stacie) Knight; and father-in-law Velton Knight. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Stephen Sr. and Amy Falcon, brother Gary Falcon Sr, nephew Gary Falcon Jr., and mother-in-law Donna (Nana) Knight.

Visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, July 8, 2024, at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose, LA, from 10 am until 12 pm, followed by a celebration of his life in a memorial Mass conducted by Father Matt Dupre’.
