Stephen Joseph Hebert

Stephen “Whitey “ Hebert 81 of St. Amant, LA, born on February 4, 1944, died on October 11, 2025. Whitey was born in Paradis, LA and was a resident of St. Amant.

Whitey served in the U.S. Army, and was a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his life. Whitey enjoyed being outdoors, watching his Westerns, as well as being on the river or lake.

Whitey is survived by his wife, Janice Hebert, his brother Johnny Braud (Troy), his daughters, Carlette Carpenter (Brian), Stacie Gauthier, and a son Derek Hebert. Along with his 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Whitey was preceded in death by his parents, his 7 brothers, 2 sisters, and his son , Bryan.
