Stanley J. Orillion Jr.

Stanley J. Orillion Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2025. He was born on December 25, 1941, in Fordoche, Louisiana, and resided in French Settlement, Louisiana.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Orillion Sr. and Bertha Lejeune Orillion; his beloved son, Scott Joseph Orillion; his two sisters, Barbara and Sadie; and his brother, Chris.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Joycelyn Vicknair Orillion; his children, Devin Orillion (Kris) and Lisa Gennaro (Steve); his grandchildren, Meagan Clavelle (Alex), Heather Dawson (Drew), Nicholas Orillion, Gina Gennaro (C.J.), and Sylena Gennaro (Cory); his great-grandchildren, Collyn, Camryn, Levi, Aisley, Hannah, Sabrina, Jasmin, Sofia, and Kamryn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Stanley was a graduate of Istrouma High School, Class of 1960. He worked in sales for many years and later retired from St. John Parish Utilities. He enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and attending estate sales, finding happiness in life’s simple pleasures and holding a deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship.

Stanley will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
