Sidney Jude Roth, 64, was born on March 2, 1962, in Plaquemine, LA, and passed away on June 10, 2026, at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. surrounded by his family.

Sidney was recently retired and had worked in warehouse supervision and insurance sales for most of his career. His love for cooking blessed many, both near and far.

He is survived by his children, Matthew (Taylor) Roth and Kadi (Ben) LeBlanc; their mother, Belinda K. Roth; and six grandchildren: Aubrey, Amelia, and Adelyn Roth, and Caleb, Ethan, and Judah LeBlanc.

He is also survived by his siblings: Carol Hebert, Barbara Gallaty, Ricky (Rhonda) Roth, Janet (Ray) Quatrevingt, Karen (Ronnie) St. Romain, and Marion Popps; sisters-in-law, Mary Roth and Debbie Roth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, John and Madeline Roth. His brothers, Reynolds, James, and David Roth. Niece Jenny Mars, nephews Jamie Roth and Reynolds Roth.

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 am at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, 60455 Bayou Jacob Road, Plaquemine, LA. A reception will follow at the Lions Club, 60255 Bayou Jacob Road, Plaquemine, LA. Services will be officiated by his nephew, Chad Hebert.

We will be forever grateful for the care he received from Ochsner Hospital in NO and BR, and the amazing team at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude.
