Sidney “Red” Donaldson

Sidney “Red” Donaldson, age 70, of Livingston, LA passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, following an extended illness.  Red was born December 28, 1952, in New Orleans, Lato the late Geneveive Schexnayder and late Mr. Richard Donaldson.  Red was very passionate about his family and loved to make others laugh.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Sidney Donladson; sister, Linda Bruno, Janice Jones, Dinae Shirley, Robin O’Conner, and Valarie Arnold.  He is survived by his daughters, Donja Donladson Crawford, Mandy Donladson, and Brandy Mullins; brothers, Richard Donladson, James Donaldson, Donlad Donladson, Steve Donaldson, Thomas Donladson, Larry Donladson, Ronnie Burgess, and Jeff Arnold; special friend, Penny Banta; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.  A memorial service to celebrate Red’s life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Sorrento Baptist Church beginning at 8:30am.  Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant.
