“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35
Shirley Jane Fauntleroy, known as 'Mam' or 'Aunt Shirley' to most, 91, of Watson, went into the arms of her Savior on June 25, 2025. If you knew her, you knew you were loved. Our precious mom collected antique dishes and people! She is at home now with her Savior and the love of her life, our daddy!
She was born on May 2nd, 1934; in Washington Parish, Louisiana, to Addie Irene Bankston and Herman Lambert; and raised by her parents, Wilfred Bond and Alberta Bankston Bond. She is survived by her two daughters and son in loves: Ginger and Joe Goudeau and Traci and Jeff Lilley. Her grandchildren that she loved fiercely, Ashley Spillman (Buddy), Joseph Goudeau (Vickie), Taylor Jane Lilley and Shelbi Taylor (Austin); her Great grandchildren, Alexa Spillman, Artemis Spillman, Ryker Goudeau and Rowan Goudeau. Her brothers And Sisters in love; Dale and Janice Bond, Gary and Carolyn Bond, Rodney and Rose Bond and Gail Bond all of Franklinton. Her extra family blessings; Becky Chelette, Lori, Matt, Andrew, Kenlee Everett, Missy Segura Poirot, and Brandon, Jack and Joe Segura, Danny & Janice Britton; Greenwood family; and church families at Foster Road and Riverside Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Lloyd Fauntleroy; her siblings, Bernice Waddell, Donice Huey and brother Ken Bond.
Join us as we honor and celebrate our moms amazing life. We ask for you to wear bright colors to honor her love of flowers and no worries for ties and jackets in honor of my mom never making my dad wear one!
