Sherita Ann Harris

Sherita Ann Harris transitioned into eternal life at home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday morning, March 11, 2026. She was born on July 11, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Aubrey Harris, Sr. and Katherine Enola DeLille Lazard. She attended St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School and George Washington Carver High School.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Harris-Marshall and Donald Marshall; grandchildren Travis Sr. (Cynthia), Darius Sr., Tyrell Parker, Yasine Lewis, and Parker Crier; and great-grandchildren Treasure, Sytia, Travis Jr., Tyler and Taylor Parker, Darielle Grant, Darriyine Parker, Darius III, Dior, Damiri and Jalani Griffin, and Sai Lewis. She also leaves behind her sisters Evelyn Turner and Voncille Lorraine Delavallade, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents Aubrey Harris, Sr. and Katherine Enola DeLille Lazard; her daughter Sabrina Denise Parker; her brother Aubrey Harris II; her sister Narvella Harris Chambers; her nephew Aubrey Harris III; her nieces Trenell Harris and Tanya Harris; her great-grandson Darius Parker II; and her great-nephew Rashad Harris.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
