Shari Elizabeth Akins

Shari Elizabeth Akins, 44 years old, of Chauvin, a resident of Central, LA, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She is survived by her loving children Haley, 21, Hunter, 16, David Jr., 15 and Danika, 8, and her partner in life David Epps; mother & step-father, Miriam Shiflet & Michael Smith; her father and step-mother, Barney and Patty Akins; her sister, Becky Cook, nieces and nephew Desiree, AnnaLee and Jason, along with several close friends and extended family, including step-mother Debbie Perviss. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brittany Epps and grandmother, Aileen White. A wake will be held at Indian Mound Baptist Church, Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00am, to be preceded by a memorial service at 11:00a.
