Seth Michael Martin, born on March 6, 1979, in Lutcher, Louisiana, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Seth’s life was marked by genuine kindness, humility, and a warmth that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Seth was a man of remarkable character and spirit. He possessed an incredible sense of humor and a natural ability to make people laugh, bringing lightness and joy wherever he went. His faith in God guided him throughout his life and was a cornerstone of his character. Humble and forgiving, with a heart of gold, Seth always extended compassion and understanding to those around him. His presence was truly one of a kind and he will be deeply missed, but the love and joy he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
From an early age, Seth demonstrated a unique ability to create and build. He loved working with his hands, taking pride in every project he undertook. Cooking brought him tremendous happiness and allowed his creativity to shine; those who gathered around his table will always remember the warmth of his hospitality and the unforgettable meals he crafted. Seth cherished the time he spent with his family, holding dear the moments and memories they created together.
He is deeply mourned by his loving family: his mother, Joy Martin Guilbeau, and his stepfather, Floyd Guilbeau; his beloved daughter, Jessica Strong, to whom he loved dearly; his sister, Kandace Phillips, and her spouse Kenneth Phillips; as well as multiple half-siblings. Seth’s legacy continues through his dog, Kali, his nieces and nephews, all of whom carry forward the light he brought into their lives.
Seth’s memory also joins those who preceded him in passing: Lowden Martin, Violet Martin Wendt, Mary, and Dick Wallace. Their spirits are lovingly remembered alongside his.
Friends and loved ones are invited to honor Seth’s memory and celebrate his life at The Church International, located at 13243 LA Highway 431, St Amant, LA 70774.
