Sean “Big Du” Duhon

Sean Michael Duhon “Big Du” passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 59. Sean was the beloved husband of Judy Marse Duhon for 39 years; devoted father of Devin (Kayla) and Malorie; and proud grandfather of Olivia White, and Dax, Damien, and Dominic Duhon. He is also survived by his mother Judith Keller Duhon: his brothers Richard, Jr. “Richie” (Allison), Torrey (Tammy), Tait (Nowanna), Travis (Bonnie); in-laws Glenn Marse, David Marse (Teri), Melanie Roussel (Bo), Stephen Marse, Brian Marse; his godmother Ronny Michel and goddaughter Madison Duhon Loving, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Sean is preceded in death by his father Richard J. “Pie” Duhon, Sr., and his in-laws Clarence and Mary Ann Marse. An avid outdoorsman, Sean loved hunting, fishing, hanging out at the Reserve Canal and the Spillway. He especially loved spending time with his grandbabies, his family, and his friends, including his pets Brody, Stew, and Iggy. Friends, employees of Cornerstone Chemical, and family are invited to attend the services October 15, 2025, at St. Peter Church. Visitation is from 9 – 11 a.m. with a funeral mass following at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, plants are preferred.
