Scott Leonard Marchand

Scott Leonard Marchand, age 64, completed his earthly journey and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Gonzales, Louisiana, Scott worked at his parent’s restaurant/grocery store from age 5 until the “Store” closed in 2002. He worked at Walmart for his remaining work years and retired in 2024. He was a kind and gentle person who loved his Lord, Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Marchand Jr. and Joan Marie Wolfe Marchand; and his brother, Robert James "Bobby" Marchand.

Scott is survived by his 5 siblings: Ronny Marchand, Rodney Marchand (Sharon), Todd Marchand, Lisa Lackey (Rory), and Theresa Robbins (Troy).

Visitation will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Gonzales on July 13, 2026 at 10 AM with a Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a Rosary and prayers are said in his honor.
