Sarah Eloise Steele

Sarah Eloise Murray Steele passed away surrounded by her loving daughter and son-in-law, April 20, 2026, at home. Eloise was born in Norphlet, Arkansas on September 11, 1926, to James Horace Murray, Sr. And Ella Mae Ashby Murray. She loved to crochet, being with her family, watching Hummingbirds and reading. Eloise and her husband, Raymond Steele had one daughter, Myra Louise. 

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Ella Mae Murray, her loving husband, Raymond Wendell Steele, her youngest grandson, Cody Alan Summers, her siblings, Rita Mae Tucker, James Horace Murray, Jr., Gene Coleman “Bill” Murray, Harry Adolphus Murray, Sr. and Mattie Sue Abbott. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Clay Sanders, grandsons, Clinton and his wife Tiffany and Christopher and his wife, Jessica and seven great grandchildren, Cade, Sarah, Landry, Mackie, Clint Jr., Celeste and Vanessa and one great great granddaughter, Aurora. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

There will be a Celebration of Life which will be announced at a later date.
