Sandra Viola, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Calhoun, Louisiana, on September 11, 2025, at the age of 64. She was born on September 13, 1960, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Joanne and Joe Strickland.

Sandra’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her loving spouse, Chris Dispenza; her mother, Joanne Strickland; her children, Stormey Ellis and husband Tommy Ellis, Stephanie McClendon and husband Timmy McClendon, Josh Viola, and Ashley; her sisters, Marie Strickland and Debbie Strickland; and her cherished grandchildren, Harper Semmes, Brailey Walker, Casey Wayne Womack jr , Josh Viola jr, Nathan Viola, Elijah McClendon, Hannah McClendon, Dakota Ellis, Skylar Ellis, and Lyla Ellis.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Strickland, as well as Chug and Toni Strickland.

Sandra will be remembered for her love, her strength, and the way she poured her heart into caring for those around her. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and being the life of the party wherever she went. Her laughter, warmth, and vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and compassion that will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 28, 2025, at Woolen Lake. The time will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor to share memories, laughter, and love, just as Sandra would have wanted.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who were blessed to be part of her life.
