Sandra Faye Wascom Pruitt

II Timothy 4: 7-8: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

Sandra passed away at 9:45 PM Saturday, October 6, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 74. She was a resident of Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at the First United Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 1:00 PM conducted by Pastor Tim Pruitt, Pastor W.R. Johnson and Pastor Mike Cotton. Burial will be at Amite Baptist Church Cemetery in Denham Springs. Survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Meshelle Pruitt and Jeff and Tasha Pruitt; grandchildren, Deidre, Brant, Peyton and Sawyer Pruitt. Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Don Pruitt; parents, Stanley and Helen Cotton Wascom; daughter, Pamela Ann Pruitt; brother, Douglas Earl Wascom. Pallbearers will be Brant Pruitt, Peyton Pruitt, Sawyer Pruitt, Shannon Wascom, Kris Wascom, Brett David and Steven Bennett. Honorary pallbearer will be Lawson Nesom. She was a member of Bethel Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Greensburg. Memorial donations may be made to Bethel Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 11801 Hwy. 449, Greensburg, LA 70441. Church Funeral services in Walker is in charge of arrangements.
