Samuel Tyler Cobb

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sammy Cobb on April 4, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1984, in Baton Rouge Louisiana to Robert and Stefanie Cobb.

Sammy was a friend to everyone and loved by many. He was a passionate outdoorsman who felt most at home on the water or sitting quietly in the stand, surrounded by the beauty and stillness of nature. Sammy was the life of the party and loved entertaining and cooking for family and friends. His work ethic was exemplary, and he took pride in the job at hand. Serving others was a priority in his life, reflected in the many events he took part in to help those in need. His greatest love was the love he had for his children. As proud as he was of the many titles he held, none held a candle to the pride he had of being a dad. Though he was flawed like all of us are, his love and compassion for others was immeasurable.

He is survived by his wife, Lori cobb and five children, Hannah, Kendall, Sammy Jr., Lane and Sadie. He is also survived by his mother, Stefanie Cobb and siblings Adam Cobb (), Mandi Howze (Jason), Matthew Cobb (Kim), Randi Hart (Lance); as well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. 

He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert Cobb and his father in love Michael Delhommer.

Services will be held on Friday April 10,2026 11-1 with a service to start at 1:00, at New Life Tabernacle Church at 12012 Florida Blvd Walker, LA 70785. Services will be conducted by Rev. Keith Payne.
