Rube was a hard working woman, learning from an early age to work the house and the fields of cotton and strawberries, walking to school every day and church. Her favorite color was red and she loved to dance and cook for everyone. She was known for her pralines all around town and made an awesome apple cake. She enjoyed visiting and making coffee all day long to spend time with family and friends rocking on the porch. Rube would say "Don't cry! Enjoy life to the fullest."
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Linda Rouyea for her excellent care and Clarity Hospice for their support in the last days. Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Mark Catholic Church on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 9am-11am. A mass of Christian burial will start at 11 am and burial will follow at St. Theresa Catholic Church Cemetery.
