Rory Travis Brock, beloved Christian, son, husband, father, brother and nephew, went to his eternal resting place on June 30, 2018, at the age of 33. He was a resident of Gonzales and native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Cor 12:9. Rory loved spending time with his family, hanging out with good friends and enjoyed fishing and cooking. He is survived by his wife Brooke Covington Brock; and his beloved children Cade John and Ryker Earl Brock and Jackson Laudun. He is also survived by his parents Robert (Bobby) Travis and Ramona Bercegeay Brock; his brother Robby Earl Brock; aunts and uncles Fred and Evelyn Brock, Barbara and Curtis Braud, Clarence (Bimbo) Brock and Elinda Taillon, Suzie Brock, Dolores and Leon Laiche, Lorraine and Ed (Pudgy) Watts, Betty and Craig Poma; cousins Melissa Payne, Curt Braud, Kim Hampton, Travis and Jeremy Brock, Shane and Cole Laiche, Tara Schroeder, Missy Spruill, Grady Watts, Dustin Braud, Jake and Jared Poma, Jeremy Bercegeay and Brooke Nicole Bercegeay. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Fred and Mae Brock; maternal grandparents Earl Bercegeay Sr., and Mildred Bercegeay Tanner and W.H. Tanner II; uncle and aunt Earl Jr. and Anita Bercegeay; his beloved cousin and friend Cade Poma and cousin Baby Braxton Bercegeay. Visitation will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, 42021 Highway 621 Gonzales, LA, on Friday July 6, 2018, at 9:00am until a mass of Christian burial at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery on Highway 30 in Gonzales, Louisiana.
