Ronald A. Reeves, Sr. of Monroe, LA. was born August 27, 1943, and stepped into glory July 17, 2024, at the age of 80.
He is preceded in death by his parents, G.A. and Eva Reeves; brothers, James Reeves, Jerald Reeves and sisters, Joyce Jones, Judy Wright; son-in-laws, Kurt Keene, and Butch Bailas.
He was known to his grandchildren as Papa John Deere.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Regina Reeves; daughters, Lisa Keene, Karla Bialas; son, Randy Reeves (Wanda); bonus children, Shannon Pipps (Larry), Sean Modrall, Carrie Whatley (Jeff), and Kim Tucker; also, his beloved dog and companion “Lucy” Also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at Ronald’s home on August 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
