Robert V. Moreno

Robert V. Moreno, 86, entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2023. He was born March 28, 1936. Bob was native of Austin, Tx and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, La. He was a devoted LSU fan! Geaux Tigers! Bob married his high school sweetheart, Abigail Rodriguez Moreno, in 1956. He joined the Army National Guard. He graduated from SMU. Bob was a loyal member of the Knight of Columbus, a member of the BABR (Business Associates of Baton Rouge), and a proud member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He was the owner of Moreno Enterprises. Bob lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting and spending time with friends and loved ones especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be extremely missed by family, friends, and many others whose lives he touched. He is survived by his wife, Abigail Rodriguez Moreno, his children: Roy Moreno (Kellie), Debbie Kuhn (Freddie), Brenda Brown (David), Michael Moreno ( Robin) and Jessica Watkins (Dewey) and 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way. He was proceeded in death by his grandson, Johnathan ‘Levi’ Ivey and granddaughter, Jordyn Alexandra Moreno. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm on Saturday, March 4, at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, 3808 Saint Gerard Ave Baton Rouge, LA  70805. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1pm. A graveside service will follow at Faithful United Methodist Cemetery, 14253 LA-431 Saint Amant, LA  70774
