Robert Keith Sibille

Robert K. Sibille, 89, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026.

Robert moved through life with remarkable warmth, patience, and compassion — a gentle soul whose kindness and understanding touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sibille and Georgette Mercedes Horaist Sibille; his sisters, Jacklyn Marie Sibille Landry and Georgette Mercedes Sibille Stevenson; and his grandson, David Warren Foster, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Demoruelle Sibille; his son, Keith Sibille (Annie); his daughters, Karen Sibille (Bruce) and Wendy Hall (Bob); and his grandchildren, Alex Sibille, Elyse Sibille, Harrison Terrell (Alyssa LeBourgeois), Wyatt Sibille, Melaine Sibille, Robert Hall Jr, and Katherine Hall (Hunter Lambert).

Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Our House of Respite for the love and compassionate care of our Papa.

A service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church at 10am with Mass of Christian burial at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area, www.alzbr.org.
