Robert Gordon Farned

Robert Gordon Farned of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on May 20th, 2023. He was a 1966 graduate of Istrouma High School and a member of Weller Avenue Baptist Church. He was a loyal LSU fan and loved spending time on the Amite River with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Joseph Farned and Mrs. Edna Farned. He is survived by his loving brother, Sid Farned and his wife, Donna; 3 nieces, and 3 great-nephews. A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date. Special thanks to Jefferson Manor Nursing Home and Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, which cared for Robert with dignity in the last weeks of his life. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals so that they may continue to provide prosthetic services to the needy at lovetotherescue.org.
