Robert “Bob” Ernest Baugh

Robert “Bob” Ernest Baugh went on to join his daughters Melissa Baugh (Perry) Parrino and Janet Baugh (Jess) Montegudo in Heaven on Monday, July 31, 2023. He is survived by his adoring wife, Leah Rae Fielder Baugh, daughter, Leah Ann Baugh (Ken) Messer, brother Eldon Royce Baugh and sister Ruth Ann Baugh Duffy. He leaves a great legacy of 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren with one on the way.  He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Dayton Baugh and Ruby Pearl Holt Baugh and his brother Ronald Cordell Baugh. He was born in Bridgeport, TX on June 21, 1936, married his sweetheart in Ardmore, OK on May 25th, 1957, and lived most of his life in Baton Rouge, LA. He worked at Ormet Corporation, Occidental, and eventually retired from Olin Corporation. He is remembered as a devoted and loving servant who spent many years greeting worshipers at Chapel on the Campus. He served his community both in Baton Rouge and at his second home in Lake City, Colorado. He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, fly fishing, jeeping, and spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family memorial service at Community Bible Church, 8354 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 3PM.
